In 2011, Marc Andreesen famously stated "software is eating the world," in reference to the level of disruption software is having in all industries. In this talk, I will venture to explain that we are in another time of significant disruption. For some, the changes by serverless will be seen as a welcome optimization, but for others, it represents a great democratizer.
